Stop Junk Email From Net

from: NOT available to public

Thumbnail example
If you want to stop junk email you will have to stop opening junk email. Many times people who send out junk email get your

address verified to them when you open their emails. Many junk emailers send out hundreds of thousands of emails to all kinds

of email addresses. These email addresses may be random guesses or permutations done by system. Either way if you open one of these emails regardless of why it was sent to you, you verify that your email address is valid. These junk emailers will then sell your email address to other people who send junk email. If you want to stop junk email from showing up in your inbox

stop opening them.

Another good way to stop junk email from overtaking your inbox is to create a spam folder. Depending on your email service

provider you may be able to set up a filter that automatically sends suspected junk email to a spam folder. I use Yahoo email

and it automatically filters out as much a junk email as it can and sends it to a folder named spam that existed when I opened the account. Yahoo designed their email service to take into account the amount of junk emails out there and to take care of them for you. I highly recommend Yahoo email for this reason and many others.

Another important thing to remember if you are trying to stop junk email is that you should stop visiting sites that ask for your email address. Unless a site is very important to you and receiving their emails is something you want do not give out your email address on websites. Many of these web sites will resell this information to others.

There is a lot of money in getting people to fall for the scams that are included in many junk emails so selling valid email

addresses can be a big business. Do not falsely believe that any website you visit keeps your information private. Even some

that claim to do so do not completely and you must be aware of this before you give out any personal information.

Many years ago I had an email address that was getting overrun with spam. There seemed to be no way to stop junk email from

filling up my mailbox and I was left with no choice but to abandon that email account and set up another. If you find yourself in a similar situation don't freak out. Setting up a new email account with a service such as Yahoo is quick and easy. Yahoo and similar services will also help you alert the people you used to email and receive emails from that you want to keep in contact with them but with a new address.

How To Create An Effective Email Marketing Campaign

from: Robert Allen Fulton

Email marketing is a cheap, efficient way to spread the word about a product or service. While a large number of companies have started to embrace email marketing as a key weapon in their promotional efforts, very few do it the right way. Here are some tips to ensure your campaign is successful.

1. No image only emails - Many people create an exciting graphic and then don't include any text in the email. This will increase the chance of your email ending up in the recipient's spam folder. Also, huge images take a long time to load and many people just don't have the patience to wait.

2. Don't use attachments - Under the threat of virus, some email servers will filter out the email attachment. The customer may not get what you want to provide. Also, many ...
